This week’s episode is a special one

Welcome back to another week of Soulful Snaps — your Tuesday moment of reflection, inspiration, and a little slice of my heart. This week’s episode is a special one, because instead of sharing something about my own journey, I’m celebrating a sister. A woman who is vibrant, passionate, intentional, and wholeheartedly dedicated to helping others feel good — inside and out.
Photography, for me, has never been “just a job.”
Her name is Steph Peirce, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing her not once… but twice. And recently, we spent an afternoon together capturing the launch of her stunning pottery collection — a project that has lived on her heart and bucket list for so long.
What unfolded that day was magic.
Photography, for me, has never been “just a job.” It’s legacy. It’s impact. It’s supporting entrepreneurial women and using my gift to help them bring their dreams into reality. And watching Steph step into hers so fully, with so much joy, energy, and intention… well, it lit me up from the inside out.
She creates with heart
Steph brings a vivacious warmth everywhere she goes. She creates with heart. She collaborates with purpose. And she knows exactly how she wants her brand to feel — earthy, organic, refined, yet beautifully playful. That clarity makes photographing her an absolute dream.
As we worked, she plated, styled, and rearranged every detail with such care. The colours. The textures. The herbs. The sunlight drifting in through the corner windows. The salads (oh my gosh, the salads!). The beautiful glowy tumble of oranges, limes, strawberries and that drool-worthy sponge cake topped with mango. Every moment felt alive.
And the pottery… well, let’s just say I wanted to take home half of it myself. The colour palette made every dish pop, and the textures of her tumblers and plates had this glove-like quality that just felt right in the hand.
Intention transforms images
Then came the portraits — the heart of Steph. Her joy. Her energy. Her high-vibe, high-love presence. The moment she stepped in front of the camera, she brought the story her brand was telling: the joy of connection, the pleasure of beautiful food, the celebration of people gathering around a table. That intention transforms images. Truly.
One of my biggest messages for personal branding clients is this:
What feels silly or over-the-top in the moment often photographs as pure magic.
Energy translates — tenfold.
Steph understood that. And because she brought her whole self, I could lean fully into the creative side of the shoot: the angles, the perspectives, the playfulness with light, the layers, the storytelling.
And here’s the part that made me tear up…
Before I could even blink, Steph had launched her images, her brand refresh, and her pottery collection online — and everything SOLD OUT. Completely gone. Pre-orders rolling in. People celebrating her artistry. Her dream, finally realised.
That is the power of women supporting women.
That is the power of aligned personal branding.
That is the power of heart-led collaboration.
Steph, thank you for entrusting me with telling your story. You were an absolute joy, and I cannot wait to work together again. Beauty, passion, and excitement — all wrapped into one. What more could a girl ask for?
